The Beginning of World War 1
1. Sandwich
1. The whole reason Gavrilo Princip shot Archduke Franz Ferdinand in the first place was because he got hungry and wanted a sandwich. If the sandwich shop was never there or sandwiches never existed in the first place this man would've never been at the mis-turn in the first in the first place.
3. Flags
3. I put flags as an important item in World War I because in a world war your going to have people and nations from all around the world fighting to protect their own people and their allies. For indication of territory or take over of territory their flags were put down to show and tell other who they were up against. It was also used as imitation.
4. Dirt
4. It may seem like a waste but at the end of the day millions of soldiers ran on dirt to claim land and find the oncoming war. Dirt is everywhere you go. There's no place to go where there's no dirt! (except the ocean and desert.) But tons of bodies, guns, weapons, buildings, planes, materials, etc. fell on to the ground, on the dirt that is just below them. The dirt tells stories of millions and can hold the millions of items lost in a single war.
5. Peace Treaty/Hand Shakes
5. At the end of the day everyone is able to resolve their differences and all come to an agreement on what they feel the next steps are. And while everyone may not be satisfied most of peace is resolved. And that's exactly how World War 1 ended as well. The countries coming together to settle their differences to no longer bring lost, sorrow, sadness, or death to each other anymore. With a peace treaty to sign and hand shakes to say it's all finally over.
